NDPP Help Build Lyn A Steam Locomotive

Over the last few years, ND Precision Products have helped out a local company to build Lyn, a new steam locomotive . The 762 Club have spent eight years and £650,000 building Lyn, one of the most advanced and narrow gauge steam engines to be built in the UK, and possibly even the world. It has involved over 7000 drawings, 25000 parts, and lot of hard work for the 762 Club to achieve this.

What did ND Precision Products do to help?

ND Precision Products and its employees are very proud to have been a part of helping them achieve this by spending many hours doing free of charge machining to make the Expansion Links which are found in the motion of the engine.

When was Lyn launched?

“Lyn” was launched to the public on Saturday 30th September at the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway’s Autumn Gala.
